Tapers Notes:
I ran into OldNeumannTaper on a taping message board before the show. I was
happy to hear he was recording as the more sources the better. As it turns
out I had equipment problems and ended up with no recording. We swapped recordings
and I offered to upload as he does not upload his recordings. Here it is, another
very nice source from the tour. Thx for letting me share your efforts.

Tapers notes:
Taped by my daughter, 15 year old Jessica McGrath
-Brought the stealth mics & pre amp but decided I'd rather just enjoy the show since it's the only one of the tour I get to see. But my daughter was very insistent that I let her tape instead.I was a little leary because I didn't want her worrying about all the little pains in the ass that stealthing can bring about but she was adament so I let her bring in the R09 & have at it. Much to my surprise this turned out way better than I would have imagined for not only the Edirol internal mics but her very first attempt at taping a show. She's helped me set up and run blocker, etc... at shows for years but this is all Jess' doing. I suggest playing this through the home system & maybe turn the bass down a bit before assuming this recording is lame. (Jess' wording!) If you haven't seen this tour you are missing something that is truly amazing, in Jess' own words at the very end of the show, "Everybody needs to see that."
Enjoy & Happy Holidays.

Comments: This was the first time at this venue, and overall, the acoustics were better
than average for a "hockey" arena, and the recording of this fantastic show came out
really well(IMHO). Recorded from sec.202, 3 rows off the floor, 15' stage right of the
soundboard. Nice sound from that location. The people around the recorder were pretty
well behaved, and very excited throughout most of the center. Enjoy this closing show
of the 2010 US Tour, (3 shows in Mexico City next), peace.

First show recorded using my new Zoom H1 using only the built-in mics and my first recorded since the last Roger show - "Dark Side Of The Mountain". It was a nice change to bring a simple rig with me and actually enjoy the show. I felt the sound at the arena was a tad on the quiet side and wished the sound guys had turned up the volume a bit. On the bright side, the crowd was pretty mellow and at times got really quiet, simply awestruck by the amazing show so the recording sounds pretty good IMO. Enjoy!

Final wall show for me unless I can go again across the pond. After last night's
complete failure I had to nake this one good. The previous night I had equipment failure that turned out to be bad batteries.Kudos to Nick for helping me troubleshoot things from across the country and the guys at guitar center for letting me buy and return a replacement recorder. My backup was lent out to record other shows and was in Hawaii.I had 3rd row tickets and planned to roll from those seats but decided the recording was more important. My partner in crime Dave convinced the third couple we asked to swap seats. They were thrilled and so was I.Here is the results of my
efforts. Enjoy

They were thrilled and so was I.Here is the results of my
efforts. Enjoy

Show 4 of 6 for me. At the last minute I checked Ticketmaster and asked
my son if he wanted to go again. We picked up 16th row center and packed
up the gear and went. Parking at the Oakland Colsieum was $35, what's with
that? Crowd was noiser than Vegas but the crowd was really into it. Nothing
too bad though.
For all who have seen the show and noticed the "homeless guy" before the show my
son had a fun and interesting interaction with him. I had a copy of my first
night at MSG with me so I asked my son to give it to him. Show must have been in
California aas I saw numerous people handing him cash. My son said to him "I saw you
in Las Vegas". He responded with something like "Why are you following me?" but then
when my son said he had some music for his trip to LA he got a laugh and a hug. I can only wonder who will get to hear it.

Tapers Notes:
Like has been mentioned in other recordings from this tour, this is a phenomenal show. I was too young to see the 1979 run, but at that time, The Wall
was my musical introduction to Pink Floyd (thanks to my brother) and I still remember my mom and I being the only person in the theatre for the film
(the other family that was there walked out). So this album holds a special place in my heart and it was amazing to finally witness it live.
I had been chatting with the man to my right between sets, but he continued to say a few things to me between "In The Flesh?" and "The Thin Ice," as well
as during the beginning of "Hey You" and at the end of the show after "Outside The Wall." There was a screaming girl about 6 seats to my left, but she
was not as annoying as she probably could have been. I was just glad I wasn't next to her. There is also some background chatter during "Mother" from
the section to my right, but a lot of people hushed them and they stopped talking after that. I also had a coughing fit as I choked during "Comfortably
Numb" (possibly due to the sheer awesomeness of this show!). Surprisingly, I couldn't hear my coughing in the recording, but there is a brief bit of
phasing as I moved to get an Altoid out of my bag and prevent further coughing.
I added some bass and also applied a little eq at the end of each set when nearby clapping caused a brief moment of peaking. I didn't do anything else to
the recording. So you'll have to raise your volume levels and play this one loud.
This is my minor contribution as a thank you to everyone who has taped and shared their recordings of this breathtaking tour.

Notes:
First, I'd like to give a big thanks to Daspyknows for recording the show. I've be waiting all of my life to see The Wall performed live, as I am too young to have seen it back in 1980/1981. Truly a dream come true. I've never been moved to tears by anything in my life, but at a few points during the show, I became very emotional. That's just a testament to how truly powerful and amazing this live show is. Special thanks to my father, Dale, for raising me on such great music and always bragging about how cool The Wall live was back in Los Angeles in 1980. ;)
This recording is of great quality and a must have for any collector!

WOW! What a show! I can't wait for Roger to release a DVD of the Wall tour, but until then, we will have to make due with these audience recordings.
I was seated in the first side section stage right, row 13 with a clear shot to the venue's right speaker stack. I am prettu\y pleased with the results -except- for missing the first minute or show of the beginning of the show. My recorder was recording 15 minutes prior to the show starting but somehow got shut off just prior to the show starting. When the show started and I checked my recording levels, I realized the issue and got the recording going just prior to the vocals coming in. I took the beginning of "In the Flesh?" and spliced it into the beginning of the show, otherwise a very nice show. Enjoy and go see this incredible show if you get a chance !

Nice Recording. To my ears it could use some boost of the mid range but I will let everyone decide for themselves.
I was on the first row of Section 310 not exactly prime recording location but it still came out pretty good.
There is some crowd talking around me but nothing too distracting.
Enjoy!

Nice Recording. To my ears it could use some boost of the mid range but I will let everyone decide for themselves.
I was on the first row of Section 310 not exactly prime recording location but it still came out pretty good.
There is some crowd talking around me but nothing too distracting.
Enjoy!
